Know Your Child's Growth Phase
Every child grows differently, but each child goes through five key growth phases. Boys and girls experience these phases at different times because their puberty ages vary. It's important to know which phase your child is in so you can support them with the right nutrition and lifestyle choices at the right time.

Seed Phase(0-2 yrs)

This is a phase of rapid growth where your child’s height & weight increases, especially in the first year. Parents will witness an increase in the head circumference as the brain begins to develop. Focus on providing a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals along with healthy fats to support their growth. Also add omegas that provide DHA to support brain growth, along with calcium and vitamin D3 for bone development.

Foundation Phase(2-6 yrs)

This phase is associated with building a strong foundation to support your child’s future growth. As the child gets exposed to external environments it is important to build their immunity. Also, focus on brain development and track their height and weight regularly to make sure their growth is on track. Give your child a balanced diet with protein, calcium, vitamin D3 for strong bones, DHA for brain function, and key nutrients like vitamin C and iron for immunity.

Build Phase(7-12 yrs)

This is a steady growth phase where you should focus on fundamentals like tracking your child's height and weight. Parents need to ensure that their child is not falling behind on any of these metrics. Make sure your child has a well-balanced diet rich in macros like protein which is important for their overall growth along with key micros like calcium & vitamin D3 for stronger bones, zinc, iron, and magnesium to support healthy growth.

Growth Phase(13-16 yrs)

This is a critical phase where your child might experience puberty which may result in a growth spurt driven by hormonal changes. Focus on providing optimum calories through a diet rich in macros like protein for muscle growth & development along with key micros such as calcium, vitamin D3, zinc, iron, and magnesium to maintain healthy growth.

Maturity Phase(16+ yrs)

In this phase, the growth slows down post puberty & they might experience stable growth till they reach their adult height. Focus on maintaining a balanced diet with adequate macros like protein to support muscle maintenance & strength along with key micros such as calcium, vitamin D3, zinc, iron and magnesium as they transition into adulthood.
